Horton Plains National Park

Horton Plains National Park is a national park in the central highlands of Sri Lanka that was designated in 1988. It covers an area of 31km² and borders Thotupalakanda Nature Reserve. It is located at an elevation of 2,100–2,300 m and encompasses montane grassland and cloud fores.

Hakgala Botanical Gardens

Lover’s Leap Waterfall

Lover’s Leap Waterfall in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, is a 30-meter high waterfall perched on the edge of Piduruthalagala Mountain. It’s known for its captivating legend of a forbidden love story where a prince and a village girl leapt from the falls, seeking eternal union. The waterfall is located about 3 kilometers from Nuwara Eliya city and is accessible by various means, including taxi, tuk-tuk, scenic walk, or bicycle.
